Industry-specific best practices
      Industry-specific best practices can help you jump-start your R/3 efforts and can also be used to demonstrate key functionality during the implementation. We have installed specific best-practice scenarios in our R/3 system that can be used in your project for demos. Industry focus is key to ERPA SAP implementations. For example, a high-tech manufacturing environment looking for a vendor forecasting solution can access a ready-to-use template from our Methodism set of accelerators. The template provides a complete set of tools, including an R/3 business process model, configuration scripts, training documentation, and integration test scripts, as well as access to our demo system.

Business process tools and templates
      One other proprietary tool ERPA uses during an implementation is the business process design template. Based on best practices for specific industry scenarios, the template captures the to-be process and identifies the process stakeholders and the detailed workplan required to achieve the desired business process. This also provides a standard business process flow using R/3 Technology. ERPA also has a dedicated set of tools that supplement the ASAP accelerators in data conversion, testing, and quality control to effectively deploy R/3 in an accelerated timeline. Combined with our TeamSAP approach, our implementation methodology ensures our clients a seamless transition to R/3.

Post-Implementation Tools and Services
      A successful R/3 implementation depends on how well it is utilized following implementation. Training, therefore, becomes the driving success factor. ERPA has developed training courses for specific user roles. We also provide extensive training on R/3 technology to the implementation team during an implementation. ERPA's SAP R/3 Upgrade Tools
      We have found the major keys to increased ROI on an SAP upgrade are planning and resource allocation. With this in mind ERPA has developed a set of tools designed to create an ASAP project plan and to assist in determining appropriate resource allocation. The tools also help concentrate the efforts of our consultants, saving our clients up to 20% of planning and 10% of development time and money while delivering the quality solutions that ERPA is committed to providing.

Upgrade Estimator Tool: Interprets the client's requirements and creates a detailed project plan that conforms to SAP's ABAP methodology.

ABAP/4 Upgrade Accelerator Tool and its components: Identifies the program and line number of ABAP/4 code where potential problems may lie after an upgrade to your target release. Selection criteria are based on table changes; BDC changes, and changed or deleted IDOCs.

Upgrade Functionality Accelerator: Accurately and concisely lists the necessary changes to each ERP module (HR, MM, PP, FI/CO, and SD) and the estimated level of effort necessary to implement the new functionality.

Testing Templates: Facilitates and expedites the time-consuming process of testing the current SAP functionality in record.
