Advanced Planning

ERPA has been involved with Oracle's Supply Chain Management products since its evolution. Our vast depth, breadth, knowledge, and experience with Oracle Supply Chain Management applications allows ERPA to continually seek out Oracle SCM projects utilizing the latest Oracle 11i e-Business products.

At ERPA we believe we have gained significant and important experience with one of the latest Oracle 11i e-Business product families, the Advanced Planning applications suite.

Upgrades

To maintain our position as one of the largest and most successful Oracle consulting practices in the United States, ERPA is continually investing in the development and training of our consulting staff on Oracle Technology and Applications.

Our Oracle Practice has successfully completed a variety of Oracle technology and application projects, and has been involved in more than fifty 11i implementation and migration projects since its release in 2002.

Whether your implementation, upgrade, or migration to 11i is complex or simply technical in nature, ERPA can tailor a package appropriate for your organization. One example is our Upgrade Plus offer, a cost-effective yet extremely effective migration service that are designed for cost-sensitive clients with limited budgets.

ERPA's Upgrade Controller

ERPA's Upgrade Controller is a knowledge repository that comes to you seeded with a baseline of all the steps that are required to be done in the upgrade process. The Upgrade Controller came about as a result of our own experience with several upgrades, as a means to jumpstart the upgrade process, and ensures its reliability. Our DBAs have used this proprietary tool to conduct several successful upgrades.

Upgrade Checklist
  • The Upgrade Controller is a knowledge repository for the upgrade process. It provides a detailed step-by-step checklist for performing the upgrade.
  • The interlocking between steps, ensures that a given step cannot be performed, until all its dependent steps have been completed.
  • Additionally, notes and logs can be uploaded into the controller, such that it serves as a one-point source for all information regarding the upgrade.
Environment-Specific

The baseline is modified to suit your current environment and provides a filtered listing of the tasks to be performed, based on the modules being upgraded.

Time Capture

The Upgrade Controller captures the start and end times for a task. It also captures "lull" times that may occur between the start and end of a task. The captured time is used for reporting at a later stage. This is a great way to refine and improve the time taken on successive iterations.

Reporting

The Upgrade Controller provides three reports describing tasks required, time required for tasks, and anticipated downtime detail.
